Ambient Hostel and Apartments

In Hungary, at the Balaton Lake, in the centre of Keszthely and in the neighbourhood of Castle Festetics you can find our Hostel and apartments. It is an ideal accommodation and meeting place for people, who are looking for relaxation and an informal atmosphere.
In our Hostel we can welcome you in 2-3-5-6 and 10 bed rooms.
In the small lounge and in the common room you can watch TV,
or play games like chess, cards.... In the big garden (1500 m²), there is a parking area and a fireplace. In view of the style (partly with bunk beds) and the price, our hostel is foremost ideal for students, associations, friends or bigger families. We also welcome such backpackers, who do not mind sharing their room with others for some nights.
IMPORTANT:
Our reception is open from 7.30 AM to 10.00 PM. Could you arrange your arrival time so please , that your arrival is before 10 PM?

As our reception is closed during the winter time, (September-May) we kindly request all our guests to contact us in order to inform us about the exact time of their arrival, so that we can recieve them. Otherwise it might be that you will only find closed doors.
The price includes VAT and final cleaning. Towels are not included. There cost 200 HUF/pice (only, if necessary.)

Apartments:
In the new part of the hostel, we have 2 studio-, and a two room apartments.
The studio apartment has a small kitchen (with fridge and microwave), double bed and TV, WiFi and a bathroom with shower.
It is ideal for 2 persons.
Two-room apartment: 2 rooms (1 bedroom). Living room with 1 double bed, sitting area with TV and WiFi. Bedroom with twin beds. Kitchenette in the living room with electric hotplate, refrigerator and microwave. Bathroom with shower and toilet. Its is ideal for 4 persons.

Café:
The upstairs part of our Café is in lounge style. There are comfortable armchairs and sofas, books, magazines, cards, games and Internet eccess.

If You come by plane Airport FlyBalaton):
There is a direct shuttle bus (Flycar) to our Hostel.
If You are travelling by bus/train:
The hostel is a 25 minutes walk away from the train-/bus station. From the station go along the slightly rising "Mártírok útja" Street (300 m), to the "Kossuth Lajos" Street ( "T" intersection). Turn right here and continue straight on through the Walking Street and through the Castle garden to Sopron utca.
At the other end of the garden is the "Sopron" Street (800 m).
You can also choose to call a taxi, which will cost ~ 1000 HUF.
The third possibility is to catch the bus (1,2,4,5,70) till Bastya utca. This will be the sixth stop. The Ambient Hostel is 5 minutes away from the bus stop.
